Services Electrolysis
The only FDA-recognized method of truly permanent hair removal — treating one follicle at a time, on any hair color and any skin tone.

Electrolysis uses a fine, sterile probe inserted into an individual hair follicle to deliver a small electrical current. That current damages the follicle’s ability to grow hair, treating each hair one at a time rather than a broader area all at once.
Because electrolysis works directly on the follicle instead of relying on the contrast between hair and skin pigment, it’s the only hair removal method that works on every hair color — including gray, blonde, and red — and every skin tone. It’s often used on its own for smaller areas, or as a finishing touch on stray hairs after a course of laser hair removal.
As with any hair removal method, hair grows in cycles, so a single session only reaches the follicles active at that time. A full plan is built around your goals, the area being treated, and your hair at a consultation — not applied as a one-size-fits-all treatment.

A few things that set electrolysis apart from other hair removal methods.
Electrolysis is the only hair removal method recognized by the FDA as permanent. Once a follicle is treated and no longer able to grow hair, that result doesn’t require ongoing maintenance the way some other methods do.
Because electrolysis targets the follicle directly with a probe rather than relying on pigment, it works just as well on gray, blonde, and red hair as it does on dark hair — hair colors that other methods often can’t treat effectively.
Since results don’t depend on contrast between hair and skin pigment, electrolysis is suitable across every skin tone, without the settings adjustments that pigment-based methods require.
Results build gradually, one follicle at a time — here’s what that typically looks like.
Because electrolysis treats hair one follicle at a time and hair grows in cycles, most patients need a series of sessions rather than just one. We’ll outline an expected plan for your area and hair at your consultation.
Sessions: A planned seriesSessions are spaced to line up with hair growth cycles in the treated area. Electrolysis is often used for smaller areas, or to finish off stray hairs that remain after a course of laser hair removal.
Spacing: Set at consultationAftercare is minimal — some mild redness right at the treated follicles is normal and typically settles quickly. We’ll go over any area-specific care at your appointment.
Recovery: Minimal, same dayLaser hair removal targets pigment in the hair, so results depend on the contrast between hair and skin color. Electrolysis inserts a fine probe directly into each follicle, so it works regardless of hair color or skin tone. Because it treats one hair at a time, it’s often used on its own for smaller areas or as a finishing touch after a course of laser.
Electrolysis is the only method of hair removal recognized by the FDA as permanent. Once a follicle has been treated and can no longer produce hair, that particular follicle is done — though a full plan still involves multiple sessions to catch every hair as it cycles through its growth phase.
Yes. Because electrolysis targets the follicle itself rather than relying on pigment, it’s effective on gray, blonde, and red hair — colors that pigment-based methods like laser typically can’t treat as effectively.
It depends on the area and amount of hair, since each session can only treat follicles that are accessible and active at that time. We’ll outline an expected plan for you at your consultation.
Most patients feel a brief, small sensation at each follicle as the current is applied. It’s generally well tolerated, and any redness right at the treated follicles tends to settle quickly.
Aftercare is minimal. Mild redness at the treated follicles right after a session is normal and usually fades quickly. We’ll go over any area-specific care at your appointment.
